Enos
Knowing that my father was a just man
He’d taught me of the the Lord and of His plan
I’ll tell you of the wrestle with God I had
To get my sins remitted, and find Him, glad
While hunting beasts, his words sunk in my heart
Concerning life eternal, with saints a part
With hungry soul I kneeled fore my maker
I cried in mighty prayer, divine partaker
All day long I cried, into the night
Forgiveness mine, guilt swept away, made bright
Thy faith in Christ, unseen, hath made thee whole
And turned thy heart unto thy brothers soul
With those of old, a hope for their salvation
Bring forth a record for their preservation
Jarom
I write as a commandment of my father
A little bit, of our prophecies not bother
For what can I write more than has been written
Salvations plan revealed, already put in
But much is done among this hardened people
Whose deafened ears can’t hear, whose minds are feeble
For those that soften neck and heart, communion
With the Holy Spirit and God reunion
The prophets pricked their hearts and they did see
With faith, exhorting them continually
Forward to the Christ they turned their view
Believe as though He’d come already too
We multiplied and grew, we filled the land
Protected by the promise fathers had
Omni
Generations pass in Omni’s book
From father down to son
Writing of their wars and peace
In God the victories won
They speak of King Mosiah's reign
He fled from Nephi’s lands
Unto Zarahemla’s step
Uniting scattered bands
Learn of another people, who
Had come out from the tower
Scattered on the northward land
Their bones the dust devour
Mosiah’s son, King Benjamin
A just man of the Lord
Protects the record handed down
To bring forth the word
Words of Mormon
Reaching back from future days
Words of Mormon come
Abridging all the records made
And hundredth of the sum
The things most precious to his soul
Are kept within this book
Testifying of the Christ
Salvation if we look
Benjamin, the righteous King
With all his soul and power
Established peace upon the land
An end to wars devour
